FormConnections, Inc. is a software development company that focuses on building apps that allow you go paperless. We currently sell three FormConnect apps through Apple's App Store (FormConnect Pro, FormConnect Pro+, and FormConnect ProMax). These apps allow you to create digital forms for collecting data. FormConnect ProMax is also available on additional platforms including PC and Android for data collection.

This privacy policy provides information on how the FormConnect Pro, FormConnect Pro+, and FormConnect ProMax apps collect and store data.

Information Collected Using the FormConnect Apps:

When you use FormConnect Pro, FormConnect Pro+, or FormConnect ProMax, any data collected is stored locally on the device and is only accessible by the owner of that device. FormConnections, Inc. does not have access to this data.

If you choose to backup your data or sync your forms between your devices using Apple's iCloud solution (FormConnect Pro+), FormConnections, Inc. does not have access to this data. ProMax server-backed sync is governed by your organization's account settings; FormConnections, Inc. does not use form field contents for marketing.

How does the App Access, Use, Store and Share Data

The FormConnect apps (FormConnect Pro, FormConnect Pro+, and FormConnect ProMax) may request access to Google, Dropbox, Box and OneDrive’s data for the purpose of displaying it to the user from within our app. The FormConnect apps require access to the user’s profile and home directory. The user profile is for displaying the user’s name and email address on the document export screen. Access to the home directory is so we can display the directory structure and allow the user to specify where they want to upload their documents.

Information That Can Be Shared Using The FormConnect Apps:

If the user chooses, he or she can export the data collected via the FormConnect apps into a file format (pdf, csv, xml, html, fmc) that can be shared with other users. This data can be transmitted via email or uploaded to a cloud file service such as iCloud, Dropbox, Box, Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive. During the exporting of this data, FormConnections, Inc. does not have access to this data.

GDPR Compliance:

For the purposes of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 or GDPR, FormConnections, Inc. is not servicing as either a data processor or data controller. The FormConnect apps (Pro, Pro+, and ProMax) provide the means for you to serve that role and it’s your responsiblity to get your customer’s consent before collecting any personal data.
